Welcome to "AI Taxi"! AI Taxi is an intelligent mobility product jointly provided by VK Transportation Development Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Ruyue Data Technology Co., Ltd., and their affiliated companies. AI Taxi attaches great importance to the protection of users' privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the AI Taxi mobile app, open platform products, and services. Please read this Policy carefully and use AI Taxi only after you have fully understood and agreed to it. If you/your guardian disagrees with any part of this Privacy Policy, you must cease using AI Taxi immediately. By using AI Taxi, you/your guardian confirm that you agree to our collection, storage, use, sharing, and protection of your personal information in accordance with this Policy.
This Privacy Policy mainly covers the following contents:
1.This Privacy Policy classifies the functions of the AI Taxi platform into core functions and additional functions, and explains in sequence the scope of personal information that may be collected by each function, the purpose and method of collection, as well as the consequences of refusing to provide personal information. AI Taxi will strictly adhere to the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity in collecting and using user information. If you refuse to provide non-essential information or information required for additional functions, you may still use the core functions of the AI Taxi platform.
2.This Privacy Policy explains the mobile device permissions that the AI Taxi platform may need to access, the corresponding business functions, the purpose of access, whether consent is requested before access, and how you can disable such permissions. After you agree to this Privacy Policy, the corresponding mobile device permissions will not be enabled by default. For important or sensitive mobile device permissions, we will display a pop-up window to request your consent again when you use the relevant function. After enabling a permission, you can disable it at any time through your device settings.
3.This Privacy Policy outlines the security systems and technical measures adopted by AI Taxi to protect the security of your personal information, such as establishing a Network Information Security Committee, formulating relevant norms and systems, encrypted data storage, encrypted transmission, requiring all employees to sign confidentiality agreements, and strictly controlling access permissions. These measures ensure that your personal information is not lost, leaked, damaged, or accessed/used without authorization.
4.AI Taxi will strictly use or share your personal information in accordance with the scenarios described in this Privacy Policy. If we need to exceed the scope specified in this Policy, we will inform you again and obtain your explicit consent.

1. Definition and Scope of Personal Information
1.1 Personal Information refers to various types of information recorded in electronic or other forms that can identify an individual natural person, either alone or in combination with other information. Under this Privacy Policy, it includes: name, nickname, mobile phone number, user password, photos, gender, vehicle information, driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, frequently used addresses, correspondence addresses, emergency contacts, location information, trip information, flight number, order information and transaction status, payment information, bank card number and its linked mobile phone number, review information, log information, device information, and IP address.
1.2 Sensitive Personal Information refers to personal information that may endanger personal or property safety if leaked, illegally provided, or misused, and may easily cause harm to personal reputation, physical/mental health, or lead to discriminatory treatment. Under this Privacy Policy, it includes: mobile phone number, user password, ID card or other identification documents, location information, trip information, and payment information.
1.3 Anonymized Information refers to personal information that has been technically processed such that the data subject cannot be identified, and the information cannot be restored after processing. Anonymized information does not constitute personal information.
1.4 Other information that cannot identify a specific natural person or reflect the activities of a specific natural person does not constitute personal information.
1.5 To ensure the security of your account and the stable operation of the system, and to comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and agreement requirements, we will obtain your device information with your authorization when you use our products/services. This includes attributes, connection status, and operational information of the device you use, such as device model, device identifiers (e.g., IMEI/androidID/IDFA/OPENUDID/GUID/OAID, SIM card IMSI, ICCID), device MAC address, software list, telecommunications operator, and other hardware/software characteristic information.
2. Collection of Personal Information
2.1 The business functions of the AI Taxi platform are divided into core business functions, additional business functions, and third-party-provided services. We will explain in detail the personal information collected by each function, as well as the collection method, purpose, and impact of refusing to provide such information. The specific business functions are as follows:
- 2.1.1 Core business functions: account creation and profile completion, online car-hailing, ride-sharing, chartered car services, and product development.
- 2.1.2 Additional business functions: user reviews, customer service, and promotional activities.
2.2 Before using the AI Taxi platform, you need to create an account and complete your personal profile. We will collect the following information through your active submission:
- 2.2.1 You must provide your mobile phone number and set a user password for the AI Taxi platform. This information is used to identify your account on the AI Taxi platform and provide you with services. If you refuse to provide your mobile phone number, the AI Taxi platform will be unable to create an account or provide services for you.
- 2.2.2 You may optionally provide photos, a nickname, your real name, ID card, or other identification documents. With your authorization, we may also obtain your credit information, occupational information, etc., from third parties. You can choose whether to fill in or authorize AI Taxi to access this information in your personal account settings. Providing this information helps other users gain a more comprehensive understanding of you and improves the success rate of information matching on the platform. Refusing to provide this information may reduce the success rate of platform information matching.
- 2.2.3 If you are a driver-user, you must provide your real name, ID card or other identification documents, vehicle brand, model, color, license plate number, driver's license, and vehicle registration certificate. We collect this information to comply with legal/regulatory requirements and protect the personal and property safety of platform users. If you refuse to provide this information, you will not be eligible to act as a driver-user on the AI Taxi platform or provide services to other users.
- 2.2.4 You may optionally set frequently used addresses (including home and work addresses). Setting frequently used addresses allows you to quickly enter trip start/end points and improves service efficiency. If you refuse to set frequently used addresses, you will need to manually enter trip start/end points.
- 2.2.5 You can add emergency contacts and set a time window for automatic trip sharing. When adding an emergency contact, you can manually enter their name and mobile phone number, or authorize AI Taxi to access your address book to upload this information directly. After adding an emergency contact, your trip information will be automatically shared with them via SMS when you use the one-click emergency call function. Refusing to provide emergency contact information will prevent you from sharing your trip in real time to protect your personal safety.
2.3 When you use the online car-hailing or chartered car services on the AI Taxi platform, we will also collect the following information:
- 2.3.1 Trip Information: We collect your departure location, destination, movement trajectory, trip duration, and mileage by recording your user behavior. This information is collected to comply with legal/regulatory requirements, protect your personal and property safety, and resolve user disputes in accordance with platform rules. If you refuse to provide your departure location or destination, driver-users will be unable to provide services to you. If you refuse to share your movement trajectory, we may be unable to track your actual travel route or fully protect your rights and interests.
- 2.3.2 If you book a car on behalf of another person, you must provide the actual passenger's mobile phone number (and optionally their name) to facilitate communication between the driver and the passenger. Refusing to provide the actual passenger's mobile phone number will prevent you from booking a car on their behalf.
- 2.3.3 If you use the premium car airport pick-up service, you must provide your flight number to check the flight arrival time and arrange the pick-up service. Refusing to provide your flight number will prevent you from placing a premium car reservation order for airport pick-up if the order is placed more than 2 hours in advance of the scheduled dispatch time.
2.4 When you make a payment on the AI Taxi platform: If you use a third-party payment service, AI Taxi will obtain information about your payment method, payment account risk control status, and transaction status.
2.5 You can anonymously provide star ratings and written reviews for other users on the AI Taxi platform. Please do not include personal information in your reviews.
2.6 When you contact the AI Taxi customer service team: We will record your call content, feedback/suggestions, and the name/contact information you provide (via call recording and manual entry) to resolve disputes, address issues, or provide feedback on results. Refusing to allow the collection of this information will prevent you from calling our customer service hotline or receiving feedback on issue resolution, but will not affect your use of the platform's core business functions.
2.7 When you participate in our promotional activities: We may require you to provide information such as your name, photos, correspondence address, contact information, and bank card number. This information is used to announce activity results, conduct follow-up promotions, contact you, and deliver gifts or process transfers. Refusing to provide this information may prevent you from participating in the activity or receiving gifts/transfers, but will not affect your use of the platform's core business functions.
2.8 When you use the above functions of the AI Taxi platform, we will also collect the following information:
- 2.8.1 Location Information: This allows you to access relevant services without manually entering geographic coordinates. Before you use the AI Taxi platform for the first time, we will prompt you to choose whether to allow the platform to access your location information and under what circumstances. During your use of the platform, you can adjust these settings at any time through your device. With your consent, we will obtain your location information via IP address, GPS, and other sensors (e.g., sensors that provide information about nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points, and base stations). If you refuse to allow location access, you will need to manually enter your location.
- 2.8.2 Order Information and Transaction Status: We record your order details and transaction status to comply with legal/regulatory requirements, protect your personal and property safety, and resolve user disputes in accordance with platform rules.
2.9 Personal information that you directly provide to third parties or authorize AI Taxi to share with third parties (when using third-party services via the AI Taxi platform) is subject to the third party’s privacy policy. When you view third-party-created web pages or use third-party-developed applications, these third parties may place their own Cookies or pixel tags. These technologies are not controlled by us and are not governed by this Policy. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to require these third parties to protect your personal information, but we cannot guarantee that they will comply with our requirements. Please read their privacy policies carefully before using their services to decide whether to proceed.
2.10 When you use AI Taxi services (including premium cars and taxis) via a third-party platform: AI Taxi will indirectly collect your mobile phone number, location information, order information, and device ID from the third party to verify your identity, determine your location, and provide services. Before collecting this information, AI Taxi will verify the legality of the information source.
2.11 Please note that the functions and services we provide are continuously updated and expanded. If a new function/service collects your information but is not described above, we will separately explain the content, scope, and purpose of collection (via page prompts, interactive processes, platform announcements, or additional agreements) to obtain your consent.
3. Device Permission Access
3.1 The AI Taxi platform may need to access certain of your device permissions. Below is information regarding the business functions associated with each permission accessed, our purposes for accessing the permission, and whether we request your consent prior to accessing the permission.
3.2 You can disable some or all permissions via your device settings to prevent AI Taxi from collecting the corresponding personal information. The display and disabling methods of permissions may vary across Android devices; please contact your device/system manufacturer for details.

4. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
4.1 Cookies are a mechanism that enables server-side (or script-based) storage and retrieval of information on the client-side. When you use AI Taxi products or services, we may use Cookies or similar technologies to collect and store information to provide you with a more convenient and secure experience. During this process, we may send one or more Cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device. This helps us understand your preferences, conduct consultations or data analysis, improve products/services and user experience, and detect/prevent security risks. We will not use Cookies for purposes other than those specified in this Policy. You can choose to retain or delete Cookies via your device settings. Manually clearing Cookies will delete your related information stored in the software.
4.2 Our platform may also include electronic images (referred to as "single-pixel GIF files" or "Web Beacons"). Web Beacons are used to count users who browse web pages or access specific Cookies. We collect information about your browsing activities via Web Beacons, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referral/exit pages, operating system, date/time, and clickstream data.
5. Storage of Personal Information
5.1 Information Retention Period
5.1.1 We will continuously store your personal information for as long as you use the AI Taxi platform services.
5.1.2 When you voluntarily delete your personal information or cancel your account, we will retain your personal information for the minimum period mandated by applicable laws and regulations. During this period, we will not use your personal information for commercial purposes. After the retention period expires, we will anonymize your personal information.
- a. To cooperate with the law enforcement and security authorities of Laos in investigating criminal activities related to the use of AI Taxi services and protect the personal/property safety of other users, we will encrypt, isolate, and archive your personal information for the duration of the statutory criminal prosecution limitation period (even if you delete your information or cancel your account).
- b. If you seriously violate Lao laws, platform agreements, or platform rules while using the AI Taxi platform, your illegal/breach records and corresponding platform credit records will be retained permanently.
- c. If a separate privacy agreement signed between AI Taxi and you specifies a special retention period for certain information, that agreement shall prevail.
5.2 Geographic Location of Information Storage
5.2.1 The personal information we collect from you will be stored and used in Mainland China.
5.3 Security Protection Measures
5.3.1 We will adopt strict security systems and industry-standard security technologies/procedures to ensure that your personal information is not lost, leaked, damaged, or accessed/used without authorization.
5.3.2 AI Taxi uses the following technical measures to protect your personal information:
- a. User personal information is encrypted and stored on servers, with data isolation technology applied to ensure data separation.
- b. Encrypted transmission protocols are used for data transmission.
- c.> Strict access control policies are implemented, with a standardized application and approval process for sensitive data access.
- d. A data security monitoring and auditing system is established to implement comprehensive data security controls.
5.3.3 AI Taxi also adopts the following organizational security measures:
- a. Establish a corporate Information Security Committee to coordinate and manage data security work, with a dedicated Data Security Team responsible for promoting data security initiatives.
- b. Promulgate and implement internal data security management standards that specify protection requirements for user data (including personal information).
- c. Conduct data security risk assessments (covering personal information) for new projects and systems before launch.
- d. Require all employees and outsourced service providers to sign confidentiality agreements, and strictly assign data access permissions based on job responsibilities.
- e. Conduct regular information security training for all employees and outsourced service providers.
5.4 Handling of Security Incidents
5.4.1 To address potential security risks (e.g., personal information leakage, damage, or loss), we have established internal systems that define classification standards for security incidents/vulnerabilities, as well as internal handling procedures (including emergency response protocols) and remediation measures.
5.4.2 In the event of a security incident, we will promptly inform you of the incident details, potential risks, measures we have taken/will take, and suggestions for you to mitigate risks independently.
5.4.3 We will notify affected users of the security incident via push notifications, letters, phone calls, or other means. If individual notifications are not feasible, we will issue a warning via a platform announcement.
5.5 Cessation of Operations
5.5.1 If the AI Taxi platform ceases operations, we will issue an announcement on the platform at least 30 days in advance and immediately stop collecting personal information.
5.5.2 After ceasing operations, we will stop the commercial use of personal information. Once the minimum retention period mandated by laws and regulations is met, we will anonymize all collected personal information.
6. Use of Personal Information
6.1 Your personal information will be used in the scenarios explicitly specified in the "Collection of Personal Information" section.
6.2 Your personal information may also be used in the following scenarios that are directly or reasonably related to the purposes stated in the "Collection of Personal Information" section:
- a. We may design, develop, and promote new products/services based on statistical analysis of user personal information.
- b. We will analyze service usage data and may share such statistical information with the public or third parties, provided that the information does not contain any personally identifiable data.
- c. We will send you necessary information and notifications, including verification codes required to complete services and service-related alerts.
6.3 If we need to use your personal information beyond the scope directly or reasonably related to the purposes stated in the "Collection of Personal Information" section, we will inform you again and obtain your explicit consent.
6.4 Pursuant to applicable laws, regulations, and national standards of Laos, we may collect and use your personal information without your authorization in the following circumstances:
- a. Scenarios directly related to Laos’ national security or national defense security;
- b. Scenarios directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;
- c. Scenarios directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or execution of judgments;
- d. Scenarios where it is necessary to protect the major legitimate rights and interests of you or another individual, but obtaining your consent is impracticable;
- e. Personal information that you have voluntarily disclosed to the public;
- f. Personal information collected from legally disclosed sources (e.g., legal news reports, government information disclosures).
6.5 Third-Party Software Development Kits (SDKs)
To ensure the functionality and stable operation of the AI Taxi app, we may integrate third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs). Below is information about how these third parties collect and use your personal information (including push services and location/mapping services):

7. Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure of Personal Information
7.1 Sharing
We will comply with relevant laws and regulations and keep your personal information confidential. We will not share your personal information with any third party except in the following circumstances:
- 7.1.1 Sharing is necessary to provide the services you have requested;
- 7.1.2 We share your relevant information within our affiliated companies to improve service quality or provide new products/services;
- 7.1.3 When you use third-party services via the AI Taxi platform, we share your personal information with the third party in accordance with the scope specified in the "Collection of Personal Information" section;
- 7.1.4 To protect your legitimate rights and interests, we may provide necessary information to your transaction counterparty or interested third parties to resolve transaction disputes;
- 7.1.5 Pursuant to legal procedures, criminal investigation authorities may access necessary personal information for crime investigation, or administrative/judicial authorities may access necessary personal information (with your authorization, if required by law);
- 7.1.6 We provide necessary information to protect public interests, property, or safety (as required or permitted by law);
- 7.1.7 We have obtained your explicit consent or authorization.
7.2 Without legal procedures or your consent, we will not provide your personal information to any third-party organization or individual. For any third party with whom we share personal information, we will sign a strict confidentiality agreement requiring them to process the information in accordance with our instructions, this Privacy Policy, and other relevant security measures.
7.3 We will comply with relevant laws and regulations and keep your personal information confidential. We will not publicly disclose your personal information unless we have obtained your explicit consent or authorization, or disclosure is required by law.
7.4 Pursuant to applicable laws, regulations, and national standards of Laos, we may share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information without your prior authorization in the following circumstances:
- a. Scenarios directly related to Laos’ national security or national defense security;
- b. Scenarios directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;
- c. Scenarios directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or execution of judgments;
- d. Scenarios where it is necessary to protect the major legitimate rights and interests of you or another individual, but obtaining your consent is impracticable;
- e. Personal information that you have voluntarily disclosed to the public;
- f. Personal information collected from legally disclosed sources (e.g., legal news reports, government information disclosures).
7.5 In the event of an acquisition, merger, reorganization, or other corporate change, we will require the successor entity to continue complying with this Privacy Policy and fulfill our original obligations. If the successor entity needs to change the purpose of using your personal information, it must first obtain your explicit consent. For previous acquisitions/mergers, data (including user data) from the acquired/merged entity was processed and protected in accordance with the same standards as AI Taxi’s own data.
8. User Rights
8.1 Access to Personal Information
You can access your personal information on the AI Taxi platform via the following methods:
- a. Account: Click your avatar in the platform’s sidebar to access the personal profile information you provided;
- b. Orders: Access "Orders" in the sidebar to view your trip information, order details, and transaction status;
- c. Safety: Access "Safety" in the sidebar to view your emergency contacts;
- d. Wallet: Access "Wallet" in the sidebar to view your points, discount vouchers, and other related information.
8.2 Correction of Personal Information
If you need to update your personal information or find errors in the information stored by AI Taxi, you have the right to correct or update it. You can submit a correction request to AI Taxi customer service or correct the information yourself via the following methods:
- a. Account: Edit your personal profile via your AI Taxi account;
- b. Settings: Modify your password via the platform’s settings;
- c. Personal Center: Update frequently used addresses, emergency contacts, and other information via the Personal Center.
8.3 Deletion of Personal Information
If you wish to delete your personal information, you can contact AI Taxi customer service (online or by phone) to submit a deletion request. Once the minimum retention period mandated by laws and regulations is met, we will delete or anonymize your personal information. During this period, we will not use your personal information for commercial purposes.
However, your deletion request will not be subject to the minimum retention period if:
- a. AI Taxi collected or used your personal information in violation of laws or administrative regulations;
- b. AI Taxi collected or used your personal information in violation of our agreement.
8.4 Withdrawal of Consent
We protect your right to withdraw consent via the following methods:
- a. Commercial advertisements sent by AI Taxi will include an unsubscribe method; you can withdraw your consent by following the instructions;
- b. You can disable device permissions (e.g., location, address book, photos, microphone, camera, notifications) via your device settings to withdraw authorization for AI Taxi to collect your personal information;
- c. Withdrawing consent or authorization may prevent us from providing the services related to that permission, but will not affect the processing of personal information based on your prior consent.
8.5 Account Cancellation
You can cancel your AI Taxi account via the platform’s settings.
